...and they make such a cute couple. Of course I'm biased, as I should be. Tonight she went to her Ring Dance , and was presented with her class ring in the ceremony beforehand. This is one of those moments when you know time is passing by way to quickly. There is No Way I can possibly be the mother of such a grown up young lady--there are days when I have to remind myself that I am not 15 anymore! Of course there are also those days where I feel like I'm 85...
I'm glad that tonight's dance was an easier affair to get ready for than the homecoming was-and less expensive! She wore a dress, shoes and jewelry that she already had; and when she couldn't find an anklet she liked, she made her own. Gotta love the creative streak. She had a wonderful night, and was exhausted and ready for sleeping as soon as I got them back home and Jon's Mom picked him up. What more could a mother ask for? And chalk one up to me for getting something done without procrastinating-I already uploaded the photos from tonight and burned a CD for Jon's parents-Yeah Me! And now it's time for bed...
